Printmaking Workshop: Create Gel Plate Prints

Under Silvia’s expert guidance, you’ll learn essential techniques, receive valuable tips, and be encouraged to explore your creativity to the fullest. By the workshop’s end, you’ll have a stunning collection of prints that reflect your unique style and newfound expertise in gel plate printing.

This workshop also incorporates an art journaling component alongside the exploration of gel plate techniques, enriching the meaning and integration of the prints within our creative journey. At the end of the workshop, you will have a collection of your own prints, showcasing your newfound skills and unique artistic flair.

Hosted in the welcoming space of The Greenwood Hub, located in downtown Calgary, the workshop offers a unique experience for artistic exploration. All materials are provided; water and a choice of Coke or juice are available for participants.

About the artist: Silvia Pinto, an accomplished instructor and accredited visual artist based in Calgary, has a deep-rooted passion for creativity and a commitment to empowering others. Silvia’s journey in the arts has led her to become a dedicated teacher. Her love for crafting sparked her passion for teaching, inspiring her to master various craft media including paper quilling, cardmaking, art journaling, mixed media, and more. With over a decade of experience as a program facilitator, Silvia has honed her skills in guiding individuals of all ages to embrace their creativity and unlock their artistic potential.
