Printing with a Pint: A Blockprinting Workshop at Allez Hops! (Nice, FR)

Join us for a hands-on introduction to blockprinting, paired with good drinks and in the welcoming atmosphere of

In this workshop, attendees will learn the basics of blockprinting, from carving a simple design to inking and printing by hand. No prior experience is necessary. This is an accessible, beginner friendly way to try a traditional printmaking process while enjoying the casual energy of this neighborhood bottle shop and micro brewery!

You will leave with your own hand printed pieces and a better understanding of how blockprinting works, along with the confidence to continue experimenting on your own. The focus is on learning, making, and enjoying the process rather than creating something perfect.

All materials will be provided. One half-pint beer, glass of wine, or soft drink is included with registration. Additional drinks will be available for purchase from Allez Hops! throughout the event.

Come solo or bring a friend! Make something by hand, learn a new skill, and spend an afternoon creating.

Rejoignez-nous pour une initiation pratique à la gravure sur bois, accompagnée de délicieuses boissons dans l'ambiance chaleureuse d'Allez Hops !

Lors de cet atelier, vous apprendrez les bases de la gravure sur bois, de la gravure d'un motif simple à l'encrage et à l'impression manuelle. Aucune expérience préalable n'est requise. C'est une façon accessible et idéale pour les débutants de découvrir une technique d'impression traditionnelle tout en profitant de l'atmosphère décontractée de cette cave à bières et microbrasserie de quartier !

Vous repartirez avec vos propres créations imprimées et une meilleure compréhension du fonctionnement de la gravure sur bois, ainsi que la confiance nécessaire pour continuer à expérimenter par vous-même. L'accent est mis sur l'apprentissage, la création et le plaisir du processus plutôt que sur la perfection.

Tout le matériel est fourni. Une demi-pinte de bière, un verre de vin ou une boisson sans alcool est inclus dans l'inscription. Des boissons supplémentaires seront disponibles à l'achat chez Allez Hops ! tout au long de l'événement.
