Printing with a Pasta Machine
About this Event
Discover drypoint printmaking using an ordinary pasta machine as a small press.
In this two-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll:
- transfer a simple image or sketch onto a recycled Tetra Pak plate
- scratch the design with drypoint tools
- ink and wipe the plate
- print it through the pasta machine
- make one plate and two original mini-prints to take home
No previous printmaking experience is needed. Reference images will be available if you prefer not to draw from scratch.
All tools and materials are provided, including ink, Fabriano paper and a folder for taking your prints home.
Hosted by RC Studio at PINK, Stockport.
