The Printers' Planet and the Taos Center for the Arts present a three-day Mini Festival, June 19–21, 2026!

DAY ONE of the Printers’ Planet Mini Fest: CALM AGITATION, A Shortfilm Film Fest featuring the work of three New Mexico Filmmakers.
📽️ Friday, June 19, 6–8 pm at the Taos Center for the Arts, Stables Gallery
The line-up is fantastic!
Sarah Parker — Taos artist Sarah Parker’s films involve deconstructive printmaking using animation and block editing, poignantly relating the trials and tribulation of human experience.
Mud Mittens — an arts collective project by Madrid, NM artists Billy Bilbro and Lori Swartz. Their films reflect an affinity for silent film making, bringing into conversation current themes on body, sexuality, identity, and the progression of space and time. @mudmittens
John Wenger — One of New Mexico’s most accomplished artists, Albuquerque’s John Wenger will close the night with a series of very experimental sight and sound films. One would be hard put to categorize these films. Think music video meets chaos theory using raw symbolism, puppets, and one-shot editing.
There will be a post-screening Q&A, and a surprise selection of artworks will be available from each artist.

Come explore the work of 20+ regional artists representing a rainbow of printmaking methods! Etching, wood block, letterpress, screen print, cyanotype, and more! We will take over the inside and outside of the Stables Gallery

DAY THREE of the Printers’ Planet Mini Fest: CURRENT DISSENT — the Artist Political Voice, Political Posters, and Media. Sunday, June 21st, noon to 4pm at the Taos Center For The Arts. Political posters display / swap / demonstration.
