About this Event
Join the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) as we celebrate the opening of Printed Voices with a public reception at the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery and Music Room on Tuesday, September 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Printed Voices features seven Montgomery County-based artists whose work showcases the dual nature of printmaking: Annette Fortt, Susan Goldman, Deborah Grayson, Maggie Gourlay, Susan Due Pearcy, Lynn Sures, and Caroline Thorington. Through a wide array of print media, the exhibition explores critical topics such as environmental strain, illness, war, history, and everyday life.
Printmaking is intimate in its creation yet public in its ability to widely circulate images that shape our collective understanding. Printed Voices invites viewers to experience the push and pull of this private creative practice producing images that resonate with audiences far and wide.
Presented at the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery and Music Room from September 14 - November 20, 2026, Printed Voices is curated by AHCMC staff. A panel of peer jurors selected the participating artists. For more information on the exhibition and the artists, click here.
About Kramer Gallery
Kramer Gallery is the first and only art gallery dedicated specifically to showcasing Montgomery County's emerging and mid-career visual artists. The gallery is managed and operated by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, in collaboration with the Montgomery County Government.
