Principals Aspiring for Career Excellence

LEAD • CONNECT • GROW

Step into a day designed for leaders who are ready to grow their impact.

Join the 2026 Louisiana State Principal of the Year for an engaging and collaborative professional learning experience designed specifically for experienced principals serving middle school students.

This is more than a professional learning event—it is an opportunity to connect with fellow school leaders, share experiences, explore innovative ideas, and strengthen the practices that drive meaningful outcomes for students, teachers, families, and communities.

Throughout the day, principals will engage in conversations and collaborative activities centered on two critical areas of school leadership:

Building Capacity in Your Faculty & Staff
Explore ways to develop teacher leadership, strengthen instructional practices, empower your faculty, and create a culture where educators continuously learn and grow.

Creating a Positive School & Community Environment
Examine strategies for building a strong school environment, fostering meaningful relationships, engaging families and community partners, and creating an environment where students and staff feel valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.

Come prepared to share a problem of practice—a current challenge, question, or leadership issue you are navigating in your school.

Through collaborative discussion and peer feedback, participants will have the opportunity to gain new perspectives, practical strategies, and actionable next steps.

Come Ready to LEAD. CONNECT. GROW.

Whether you are looking for fresh ideas, meaningful connections, practical strategies, or simply an opportunity to learn alongside leaders who understand the work—you will leave with new perspectives and ideas you can take back to your school.

Bring your experience. Share your expertise. Learn from others. Leave inspired to lead at an even higher level.
