A brand new work by award-winning director, writer, and producer Willem Whitfield.
Primitives unfolds during an afternoon rendezvous between Van Brandt, a struggling painter, and Alice, a wealthy young heiress. Their buzzing conversation, set against a dreamlike landscape, scrutinizes the purpose of art, the intricacies of love, and the universal search for meaning in an ever-changing world.
Primitives is a new Australian Gothic play featuring live painting, apples, and entrails.
