Primary Gymnastics CPD

Come and join us to learn the basics and fundamentals of teaching primary Gymnastics. We shall enjoy a practical journey through the 4 aspects of Gymnastics; Balance, Rotation, Flight & Inversion. We will focus on teaching ideas, techniques & showing supports to build staff confidence in teaching gymnastics, floor work & taking skills onto apparatus. Aimed at First & Second Stages.

This is a practically based learning course so please come prepared wearing appropriate clothing and indoor shoes. All jewellery should be removed in accordance with ACC Jewellery in PE policy and take a water bottle as the gym hall can get very hot. If you cannot participate practically due to illness/injury you are welcome to observe from the benches at the side. Numbers will be limited to 20.
