Pride Month Outing with Feminist Bird Club ABQ-SF and Audubon Southwest

Celebrate Pride Month with Feminist Bird Club Albuquerque–Santa Fe Chapter and Audubon Southwest! This will be the 7th year Audubon Southwest has hosted an LGBTQ-inclusive walk in June, and we are so excited to partner with them this year!

Our walk leaders will guide groups to find and identify birds through the native plant gardens with feeders, around the historic Randall Davey home, and into the pinyon and juniper of the Canyon Preserve.
Parts of this trip are wheelchair accessible on brick and flagstone and paved walkways. Part of the trip involves hiking on trails and a few stairs. Benches are available throughout the property for anyone who needs them. We are also offering stationary birding in the garden by the feeders for those who prefer.

No birding experience is necessary. Please bring binoculars if you have them. We have a limited quantity of loaner binoculars that participants may borrow for the excursion. Be sure to wear sun protection, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a water bottle.

The Randall Davey Audubon Center is our gracious host for this event. There is indoor seating, accessible restrooms, and water available at the Center. Tickets for this event are free. Parking is free, but space is very limited - please plan to carpool (also better for the environment and your wallet!)
