WHY PONTIAC?
Pontiac is Oakland County's city. It's home to one of the most vibrant and underserved LGBTQ+ communities in Southeast Michigan — and it has never had a Pride of its own. Pride in Pontiac 2026 is here to change that. Produced by Broken Arrow Entertainment LLC in partnership with Unorthodox Drag, this event is the beginning of something permanent for the Pontiac LGBTQ+ community.
Whether you're coming from Detroit, Auburn Hills, Birmingham, Waterford, Clarkston, Troy, Royal Oak, or anywhere across Oakland County and Metro Detroit — this is your Pride too.
SPONSORS & COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Proudly supported by B Nektar Meadery, The Crofoot, and community partners across Southeast Michigan. Interested in sponsoring Oakland County's first Pride? Contact us at [email protected].

About this Event
Pride in Pontiac 2026: Still Here. Still Proud.
Friday, August 14, 2026 at The Crofoot in Pontiac, Michigan.
Pride in Pontiac is being built as the city's first full LGBTQ+ Pride celebration: a community-rooted, locally led day-and-night gathering for visibility, connection, performance, resources, and joy.
This is not an outside promoter dropping into Pontiac for one night. The event is led by local organizers already producing programming at The Crofoot and building toward an annual Pride tradition for the city.
Why Pontiac, Why Now
- Pontiac has no dedicated queer venue or established city Pride event.
- Oakland County has a large LGBTQ+ community, but many major Pride spaces are 20+ miles away.
- Pontiac deserves a visible, accessible, locally rooted celebration of its own.
What We're Building
- Daytime Pride programming for community connection, local makers, and resource partners.
- Evening entertainment focused on drag, music, and nightlife energy.
- A vendor and community marketplace for LGBTQ+-owned businesses, artists, nonprofits, and allies.
- VIP supporter access for guests who want to help subsidize affordable general admission.
- Sponsor and community partner opportunities for businesses that want to support year one from the ground floor.
Current Stage
This is a year-one launch event. Vendor, sponsor, and entertainment details are being developed and will be announced as they are confirmed. Buying a ticket early helps prove demand, unlock stronger partnerships, and keep general admission accessible.
