🌈 Join our third annual Pride celebration on Friday, June 5, from 4–8 p.m. at Hodges Park in Uptown Park Ridge, featuring food trucks, children's activities, drag performances, local vendors and community organizations.4–6 p.m. — Kids Zone: Face painting, balloon art and crafts. Inflatable slide and obstacle course.
6 p.m. — Line dancing: Firebrand queer/LGBTQ+ country and western dancers.
6:30 p.m. — Proclamation and speakers: Mayor Marty Maloney recognizes June as Pride Month in Park Ridge. Local LGBTQ+ community speakers.
7 p.m. — Drag cabaret — Live-singing performance by Kiki Queens.
Food/Drinks:
Pinoy Grill, Sernas Grill and Soul & Smoke grills. Nicky C's Red Hots, October Café, Rita's Italian Ice and Triple Scoop'd. Patina Wine Bar.
Shopping:
Commemorative event T-shirt, local vendors and raffle. "The Luck We Carry" book signing by local queer author Ron Stempkowski.
