'Pride amongst the Pages' at Rugby Library

This event, run by an LGBTQ+ library worker, is great for socialising with others and taking time out for your wellbeing in a safe inclusive space. All members of the LGBTQ+ community and Allies are welcome.

• Chill out and chat whilst working together on a Pride jigsaw
• Make your own queer badges - flags, pronouns etc
• Try 'Coming Out' poetry (blackout poetry but Pride themed)
• Share what Pride means to you! (using your words or someone elses, in the form of a poem, a reading, lyrics, an illustration, a zine or just thoughts on a post-it note!)

Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm

Date: Saturday 27th June 2026

Age: Adults and young people 14+

Booking: Please book if possible as the room only holds 12 people. If there is more demand we will look at an additional break out space

Can't make it to an event? Please let us know! We understand that sometimes plans change and you may no longer be able to attend an event you've booked. If that happens, we kindly ask that you cancel your booking in advance.

Doing so helps others take your place and ensures that the time, effort, and funding that go into our events are used effectively. Our events are supported by Warwickshire County Council and Arts Council England, and every space matters. When you don’t attend without cancelling, others miss out — and valuable resources go to waste.

5. Confirm your cancellation.
