Join the Nebraska Opportunity Exchange (NOE) and Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) representatives for an in-person, hands-on session focused on pricing for profit and building contract-ready financial projections.

This workshop combines two critical areas:

Pricing for Profit in Contracts
Learn how to build winning rates that actually cover your full costs and desired profit. We will walk through:

• Direct and indirect costs, overhead, G&A, fee/profit, and risk
• Comparing fixed-price, time-and-materials, and cost-plus structures
• How pricing decisions affect cash flow and capacity over time

Financial Projections for Contractors
Learn how to create lender- and buyer-ready projections tailored to contract revenue, including:

• Cash flow timing and revenue recognition by milestone
• Cost curves, contingency, and realistic expense planning
• Translating your pipeline into a practical 12-month forecast

You will leave with:

• Bid pricing worksheet (cost build-up, overhead/G&A, profit target, sensitivity check)
• 12-month projections template (cash flow, P and L, base/likely/stretch scenarios)
• Unit economics cheat sheet (break-even, contribution margin, capacity)
• Risk and pricing checklist (compliance costs, insurance, bonding, change orders, retainage)

Outcome:
You will walk away with a buyer-ready price model and projection set that you can hand to lenders, advisors, and procurement teams with confidence.
