Preventing Type 2 Diabetes

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with prediabetes or a chronic disease, are at risk for developing diabetes, or want to improve your health habits, this 3-part course is designed for you.

Each session has a different topic and is led by a Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with Sound Dietitians, LLC. The sessions will cover a variety of topics as well as follows along with the book Prediabetes: A Complete Guide, by Jill Weisenberger, MS RDN CDE FAND.

Participants in the class will receive a free copy of Prediabetes: A Complete Guide at the first session. Resistance bands for exercise, recipes, and various handouts will also be available to participants who attend each session.

Dates: Mondays: February 23rd, March 2nd, March 9th

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Cost: $15.00 class fee plus $1.41 WA State Sales Tax
