Preventing Childhood Obesity

Join us for an free in-person event all about preventing childhood obesity! We'll dive into fun, easy ways to keep kids healthy, active, and feeling great. Whether you're a parent, teacher, or just someone who cares, come learn practical tips and connect with others passionate about making a difference.

Information will be provided on how to encourage our children to have a healthy eating lifestyle. During the workshop Ernst Robinson, MBA, BSN, RN, ACHE Associate Chief Nurse Executive at Northwestern Palos Hospital will discuss Metabolic and Genetic concerns regarding Childhood Obesity and Dr. Tonya Davis Therapist will discuss the emotional side of eating and how it contributes to childhood obesity.
