Pretend I'm a Genius is an alternative rock/indie trio who's been entertaining crowds in bars, clubs and festivals since 2015. Fans say our original songs offer a “refreshing twist on a solid 80’s rock foundation” with “well-paired vocals and meaningful lyrics.” Founding members and songwriters Kelly Peak (bass) and Mark Foley (drums) form a tight rhythm section while Ian Kirven displays his prowess on lead guitar. Our shows offer a mix of favorite tunes from our album recordings with new material and deep cuts from our catalog. Are we occasional geniuses or just pretending?
