Hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, Pressing Strings has built a devoted following with music that feels both timeless and completely their own. Led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Jordan Sokel, alongside bassist Nick Welker and drummer Justin Kruger, the trio combines soulful songwriting, gritty guitar work, rich vocal harmonies and infectious grooves into a powerful live show.
Over the years, Pressing Strings has taken their sound across the country, appearing at festivals including FloydFest, Firefly, SweetWater 420 Fest, CaveFest and Annapolis Baygrass, while sharing stages and bills with artists including Gov’t Mule, JJ Grey, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Neil Francis.
