Pressed Flower Candle Jar

In this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants will create their very own Pressed Flower Candle Jar—a beautiful, nature-inspired lantern they can enjoy at home.

Together we’ll explore:

🌸 How flowers and plants can be preserved and used in creative ways
🌿 The beauty and diversity of plants found in our natural world
🐝 The connection between flowers, pollinators, and healthy ecosystems
🎨 How we can use natural materials to create beautiful, meaningful art

Participants will create and decorate their own glass candle jar using pressed flowers and other natural elements.

We’ll also discuss:

🌼 Why flowers are important to bees and other pollinators
🐝 How pollinators interact with flowering plants
🌱 How we can support pollinators by growing a variety of flowers
🍃 How plants can be appreciated and preserved through creative projects

Each participant will leave with their own handcrafted pressed flower candle jar, complete with a tea light, ready to brighten up their space and serve as a little reminder of the beauty found in nature.

This program is best suited for kiddos ages 3–7. Children must attend with an adult. Adults do not need to pay.
