Press Pass to Success: Get the Journalism Job You Want
Join Atlanta Way 2.0 for a half-day workshop designed to help you land a job in journalism. Tailored for journalism students, recent graduates, and early-career journalists, this program features two expert-led sessions with seasoned professionals from some of Atlanta’s top media outlets.
SCHEDULE
o Registration and light breakfast 8:30 a.m.
o Career Journeys: Hear how some of Atlanta’s journalists got started and have advanced their careers. - 9:00 – 10:15 a.m.
o You’re Hired: Learn what information and clips to include in your job application and how to nail your interview from some of Atlanta’s hiring managers. 10:30 – 11:45 a.m.
o What’s next: Wrap up and networking 11:45 – noon
