Community Conversations with Emory Parkinson’s Disease Researchers
Join Parkinson's disease researchers at Emory University for the 15th annual Udall Center Community Conversations event on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. The event will be held at Emory’s Brain Health Center (click 'Show map' above under 'Location'). Registration opens at 8:30 am.
The 2025 event will feature a series of discussions in which groups of attendees will have the opportunity to discuss current Parkinson’s disease research topics with Emory scientists. This year's topics will include:
- Depression and Parkinson's Disease
- New Surgical Methods for Parkinson's Disease (Adaptive DBS, Focused Ultrasound)
- How Does Parkinson's Disease Spread in the Brain?
The group sessions will be followed by a lunchtime presentation by:
- Seth Hopkins, Executive Director of The Booth Museum and a Parkinson's battler.
The event is free, but registration is required because seating is limited. Lunch will be provided, and free parking is available close to the meeting location.
This program will be supported by a grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation and support from the American Parkinson Disease Association.
