July 9th, a P-38 from Planes of Fame Air Museum will fly over the Richard I Bong Veterans Museum as well as the Bong family farm in Poplar, WI. After this occurs, please join us at the Richard I. Bong Memorial Airport for a live press conference with our Mission Marge team in Papua New Guinea. Admission to the conference is a $5 donation. This will take place in the Commemorative Air Forces hangar. We hope to have roughly 30 minutes with the P-38 pilot/ plane to ask questions and take pictures before calling our team in PNG, who are technically a day ahead of us (15-16 hours).

We aim to discuss their mission details up to that point and review how our humanitarian efforts are going. The conference will last one hour before the third event of the day. At 5:30 pm, the Rock the Ramp event will be opening its doors for music to start at 6:30 pm in the hangar we're using for the press conference. The Rock the Ramp is an annual event that the CAF runs as a fundraiser for their organization. They sell food and serve drinks while they have a live band play until 10 pm.

Their tickets are just $10 online or $15 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting the CAF Lake Superior Squadron’s mission to Educate, Honor, and Inspire.
