Come along to AKS from 6.15pm for coffee and home made cakes, second hand bookstall, raffle and the chance to chat with our President, Prof. Michael Scott, before he takes us on a virtual tour of ancient Olympia.
Michael, returning for his twelfth annual lecture, is a Professor in Classics and Ancient History at the University of Warwick as well as a broadcaster, author and public historian, and in his lecture he will explore the behind-the-scenes of the ancient Olympics and the sanctuary that might just also be "the worst place you could ever be"!
