This class goes through the simple methods of getting great produce preserved and ready to delight your loved ones.
This class is timed perfectly to capture the delights of the upcoming season, when produce is abundant, and these methods will help you preserve that wonderful harvest. They also make wonderful gifts for loved ones, perfect for Christmastime.
Great day out to be had with a family member or friend, or come on your own. There’s lots of hands on fun to be had. The best part, you get to take home a jar of everything we make and also enjoy it on a Ploughman’s Lunch.
Saturday December 7th- 10am to 2pm (SA Time) - $165 per person
There’s no previous experience necessary for this class. The preserves we make aren’t just jams and sauces.
These are THE showstoppers of the preserves and THE secret ingredients!
We’ll make Beetroot and Balsamic Chutney, Lemon Squash, Strawberry Jam, Dill Pickled Zucchini (that tastes like gherkins!) and lastly Worcestershire Sauce (which is the secret ingredient in most of my cooking)
You get to take these preserves home to start stocking your pantry, or filling your gift baskets, and you get all the recipes from the day.
I can’t wait to share these methods with you. They’re so quick and easy. We’ll complete all 5 preserves in 4 hours, with plenty of time to sit down together to enjoy a sample of our preserves with our lunch.
