Whether your horse is your teammate, a new friend or a long-term partner, this workshop is for humans who want to expand their understanding of their horse’s physical capabilities and learn to facilitate their own and their horse’s best self. Savannah’s understanding of how to connect the pieces between posture, movement, and emotional self for ponies and their people creates a unique opportunity to get underneath your goals as an equestrian, reconnecting horse and human on a physical, emotional and mental level.
Throughout the day you will practice tools to inspire and motivate your horse without using force or coercion, develop your understanding of your horse’s nervous system and your own, raise awareness of your horse’s physical and emotional well-being and discover new ways to tap into your horse’s fullest potential. We will end the day discussing how management sets the stage for balanced living and provide each horse with a custom nutrition plan.
Sessions will primarily focus on unmounted assessment, connection and practice, but may move to ridden work.
>> Maximum of four horse participants.
>> 80 minute single horse sessions.
>> Three daily discussion sessions.
>> Two warm meals included.
>> Endless hot cocoa and hand warmers.
>> Bring your own horse or work with one of ours. Stabling and horse fees are included.
