I am SOOO very delighted and excited to finally be offering a FULL DAY dance & movement workshop to you, my friends in MELBOURNE, after such a long break. 🩵This is my favourite way to work with groups—a spacious format where we have the time to go deep: explore, get curious, be messy, and cultivate a genuine interest in the process. It’s an opportunity to dive beneath the surface and uncover & recover hidden gems, with plenty of space to gently reflect, digest, and be nourished by our shared practice—together.
This will be my first workshop offering in Melb since 2023.

Movement and creativity are our birthrights; as natural as breathing. We each possess an ineffable capacity to create, as we carve infinite pathways towards our essential nature - which is vast, unique, & universal.
During this day-long Movement-Inquiry we’ll take some time to glimpse into our personal biographies, Past, Present & Future in order to orientate ourselves towards a clearer, more spacious -'Here and Now'.
Through the universal language of dance—interwoven with other creative modalities like drawing, writing, witnessing, and sharing—we will inquire into where we’ve come from and where we are headed, with curiosity and tenderness... infusing the present moment with (hopefully!) greater awareness and a luminous sense of ✨PRESENCE✨
This workshop falls under the Open Floor 'Art In Motion' program which is designed to cultivate & nurture our Creative Intelligence through Dance, Writing, Theatre and the Creative & Visual Arts. This is where we lean into the creative process - not just create works of art.
*No 'artistic ability' or experience is necessary.

Liat Lev is a trained dancer and one of the pioneering teachers of the Conscious Dance movement in Australia.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, her work has inspired a dedicated and vibrant following both in Melbourne and Byron Bay.
Liat is a Dance/Creative Arts Therapist & serves on the Faculty of Open Floor International, where she mentors Teachers-in-Training globally and provides supervision to program graduates.
She also holds Post Graduate Diploma in Steiner Education & Theatre. She is writer, a mother and a lover of the spoken word.
