**Otari Montessori Preschool Open Day**

We warmly invite Wellington families to come and explore Otari Montessori Preschool at our Open Day.
Come and meet our wonderful teachers, explore our environment, learn about our holistic and well-rounded programme, and see your child in action. Children will have the chance to engage with a variety of discovery activities, as well as explore our purpose-built outdoor deck and playground.
This is also a lovely opportunity to meet our warm parent community and enjoy a conversation over a warm drink and a snack.
At Otari Montessori, we are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education, supporting our tamariki in their interests and learning about the world around them, while building strong foundations for social-emotional development.
We are also lucky to be situated in one of the most beautiful natural environments in Wellington, with Wilton’s Bush right on our doorstep for children to explore and enjoy.
As a result, our preschool environment supports children to:
• feel happy and secure coming to preschool
• build friendships and connect with others easily
• focus, persist, and stay engaged in what they do
• take initiative and grow in independence
• show kindness, empathy, and care for others
Our programme offers:
• learning through hands-on experiences, purposeful play, time outdoors, and plenty of free play with rich opportunities for social interaction with peers
• a rich and diverse holiday programme featuring arts, environmental exploration, and physical activities, including interactive Kelly Sports games
• weekly music sessions
• weekly bush walks
• a strong transition pathway: Playgroup → Preschool → Primary
• quarterly parent information sessions
This is a relaxed opportunity to visit, ask questions, and get a feel for whether Otari Montessori could be the right fit for your child and family — whether you are new to Montessori or already familiar with its core principles.
