Preparing For Out of Hospital Birth

In honor of Black Maternal Health Week, Birthmark is teaming up with Community Midwives Elder Charlotte & Divine to empower birthworkers in supporting families through birth center and home births.

This 2-hour interactive training prepares doulas & perinatal health professionals to confidently support clients choosing home or birth center births. Participants will gain an understanding of the philosophy, environment, and logistics of community birth, enhance collaboration with midwives, & practice comfort techniques that promote physiologic, family-centered birth experiences.
