This is a one-day Saturday class. A two-part evening class is also available. See separate event for details. In this class, you and your support person will learn what to expect before, during and after childbirth. Content includes late pregnancy expectations, the process of labor and birth, pain relief and comfort measures, medical interventions, cesarean sections and newborn and postpartum care. Includes tour of Labor & Delivery and Women & Newborn.
You do not need to sign up for the separate Labor & Delivery tour if you are attending this class.
You will take this class OR Natural Childbirth but not both.
Videos of Breastfeeding, a Vaginal Birth, and glimpses of a C-Section will be shown.

Plan to attend during the last trimester of your pregnancy, but call around 20-25 weeks to register for the best availability. Registration ends 3 days before class or when full.
