Prepare for Landing: A Night of Comedy Pilots
Friday April 24th 7:30pm
Sliding Scale Tickets From $0 to $20
Fasten your seatbelts snugly across your lap, tuck your carry-on items safely in the seat in front of you, and liftoff into the clouds—by the clouds, we do of course mean the worlds of TWO new ½ hour comedy pilots, being presented as stage readings. Plus, select audience members will be chosen to cold-read lines alongside the actors.
Prepare for Landing will take place at at 7:30pm on Friday, April 24th in The Glendale Room (Glendale, CA).
ABOUT THE PILOTS: Hot Convent by Claire McNerney When spoiled (and unmarriable) lady Hildegard is sent to a convent, she finds a delightful community of queer nuns who love to party—until an oppressive priest starts summoning demons to try and scare them into his version of morality.
The Deep End by Kathryn Steenburgh After her grandfather buys the local waterpark, ne'er-do-well Izzy Giordano must return to her New Jersey hometown. Her mission: save the dilapidated park... and her inheritance.
