The Harbour Haven and The Coastal Cove are excited to bring a Preloved Clothing Swap Market to the Coast! A fun and sustainable way for families to clear out clothes and pick up some secondhand treasures for themselves or children! This event is all about community, sharing, and giving preloved clothes a second life.
How It Works:
1. Bring your clothes you are giving away to The Harbour Haven in the weeks leading up to the event. Families can bring in clean, good-quality clothing that their kids have outgrown or adult clothing they no longer need/want. You can bring as little or as much you want!
For every bag of clothing donated (supermarket paper bag size or reusable tote bag), you will receive the same number of empty swap bags to take home. These bags will be used on the day of the market to fill with preloved items. For example: If you donate 2 bags of clothing, you will receive 2 swap bags to bring back and fill at the market.
2. Designer / Premium Brands Section
If you donate designer or premium branded clothing, you will receive a special coupon card. On the day of the event, these coupons can be used in the Designer/Premium Section, where you can choose the same number of premium items as you donated. The goal is to keep the system fair while also celebrating high-quality pieces that families may love to pass on.
3. Come Back on Market Day
Bring your empty swap bags back to the event and enjoy browsing through the clothing available. You can fill your bags with preloved clothes for your family – a simple and sustainable way to refresh everyone’s wardrobe whilst passing on what you no longer need.
4. Supporting the Community
If you don't have any clothes to donate but are in need of some new items for yourself or child(ren) please still come along, we are very happy to support those in need. Any clothing that is not taken on the day will be donated to a local charity, helping support families who need it.

- It’s a simple way to share, reuse, and support one another as a community
