The Preloved Clothing Sale is back by popular demand in Abingdon and is taking up TWO rooms at the Guildhall!
We're offering you the opportunity to browse and buy quality second-hand clothing in a gorgeous, welcoming and clean environment.
Location: Roysse Room & Old Magistrates Court at the Guildhall, Abingdon, OX14 3JD. Access is opposite Fatface by the registry office.
Local people, offering clean, good quality preloved clothing will be ready to welcome you into the Guildhall in the centre of Abingdon to provide a comfortable and rewarding shopping experience for everyone! Adults and children's clothing will be available.
We are working in partnership with two local charities -
- One Planet Abingdon, to support the re-circulation of clothing and reduce the amount of clothing ending up in landfill.
- Churchill Partners, the local Cancer Research UK team, who work tirelessly to raise awareness and donations for the local researchers working to beat cancer faster. They will be providing hot drinks and sweet treats by donation and a comfortable place to rest your feet on the day from their pop-up cafe in the Old Magistrates Court.
Entry fee: £1.50 per person. We now take card payments on the door however not all sellers will have electronic payment methods so it’s safer to assume it’s mostly cash only then you don't miss out! Fear not, there is a cash machine opposite the venue near FatFace.
If you have clothes to sell, please contact us directly to discuss opportunities. We've got a good idea of what sells well, and what doesn't so it's worth us having a chat about that beforehand to ensure we're a good fit for each other.
