Join us during February Half term for Prehistoric Fun and Games!
Join us on Friday 21st February at Grantham Museum as we enjoy crafts like Prehistoric people used to!
Each hour slot will including a variety of crafts for you to get involved and by using 10,000 year old skills you will make yourself a unique prehistoric artefact set.
Crafts include:
Learn to make cord from plant fibres.
Sew a small tool older.
Make a stone bladed tool (safe blunt blades supplied).
Fashion a figurine from clay.
All games and activities are rewarded with small clay “charms” that are strung on a necklace.
Maximum children to take part in each hour session is 16
£4 per child. All ages welcome as activities can be suited to all.
Refreshments will be available for children during the event.
These events are delivered in partnership with Lindissi CIC, and partly funded by SKDC & National Lottery Heritage Fund.
