A NEW ONE OF A KIND offering in Edmonton and area is here! This program is for expectant couples who are new(er) to Alberta and needing a combination of prenatal education and resources with English language support.
This childbirth education class will prepare you for labour and birth at home or at a labour and delivery unit. The class has been created for newcomers to Canada/Alberta. Using video, pictures, handouts with basic English and hands on learning, you will go away feeling informed and more confident. All levels of English welcome.
Where: South Side Home office 7903-14 Ave SW Edmonton, Alberta. Please note there are small pets that reside in the home. If you have an allergies animals, please let us know.
Your Educator:
Dyvonna has sixteen years of experience teaching English as an additional language (TESL) to adults; experience as a Birth Doula (CD(DONA) for nearly fourteen years and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) for over seven years. Combining all of these passions is a dream come true.
