Course Content:
This course will build your confidence in being able to work with precision and it will give you an essential foundation to achieve your woodworking projects with accuracy and a beautiful finish.
During the two day course you will learn how to select, sharpen and set up the tools. You will also gain a better understanding of wood, how it moves, and how to work with it effectively. You will learn to measure and mark accurately, cut and chisel to a line as well as learning how to use your bench plane.
This in turn will give you the ability to create clean cuts and high quality fitted joints for your future projects. You will make a small set project - a serving board - which will allow you to practice and experience the knowledge and skills that will be covered on this course.
