Learn to Sew – A Crossbody Bag

Join Ali for the day in this fun and creative workshop. You’ll make the medium size Bestie Bag, a crossbody carry all companion which is a favourite within the sewing community. In a relaxed and friendly environment you’ll be guided step by step through the construction of the bag, adding a lining and inserting your zip. This course is designed for confident beginners who are familiar with using a sewing machine and want to develop their sewing skills. You’ll leave with a super practical Bestie Bag and the skills and confidence to continue your sewing journey at home.
Materials provided for this workshop include the use of a sewing machine if required, sewing tools, pattern to take home, lining fabric, the notions to complete your bag (webbing, zip and D ring) and a label to add personalisation. You will need to bring 1m of cotton canvas or denim for the outer part of your bag, details will be sent in advance.
