About The Book:

Every woman carries within her a summit she is meant to reach—an altitude defined not by titles or accolades, but by courage, clarity, and the conviction to rise. POP: Precipice of Power – A Woman’s Guide to High Altitude Achievement was born out of that truth. In these pages, you will meet women who did not climb because the path was smooth, but because the view from their own hard-won heights was worth every uncertain step. Edited by Emmy Award winning journalst Bonnie Stevens and CCO of international consulting firm, PEAK Learning, Ronda Beaman, this collection gathers voices from across industries, generations, and life experiences—women who refused to shrink, who chose to speak, who rebuilt after loss, who led when they weren’t invited to lead, and who discovered that their power was not something to earn, but something to claim. Their stories are not polished myths of effortless ascent. They are rugged, honest accounts of recalibrating after setbacks, trusting instinct over expectation, and redefining what it means to succeed in a world still learning how to welcome women at the peak. Whether you are beginning your climb, resting at a midpoint, or standing at your own windy edge wondering how to take the next step, you will find wisdom here—clear, generous, and deeply human. You will see yourself reflected. You will feel less alone. And you will be reminded that the altitude you seek is within you. May this book be your compass, your encouragement, and your steady breath of rarefied air. May it inspire you to rise—bravely, boldly, and entirely on your own terms. Your precipice awaits.
