Join us for an exclusive Guardhouse pre-Valentine's Evening on Friday 13th February from 6pm - 9pm, with fantastic freshly prepared food and a range of local drinks set in warm cosy surroundings.We aim to transport you away from the hustle and bustle of daily life to spend a slice of precious time with that special someone in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
At a price of only £75 per couple, for a three-course meal followed by a hot beverage and complimentary chocolate, take a look at the delicious menu to see what treats await:
Starters:
Chilli, ginger and garlic grilled king prawns, served with chunky bread, salted butter and a salad garnish.
or
Tomato and mozzarella bruschetta, with a balsamic glaze.
For the main course:
8oz sirloin steak, with a choice of either a peppercorn, blue cheese or garlic butter sauce
or
Fillet of Brixham fish, in a white wine and mussel cream
Both served with chunky chips, grilled vine tomatoes, field mushrooms and tenderstem broccoli.
(Vegetarian and vegan options available on request)
For dessert:
A zesty lemon posset served with homemade shortbread,
or
A rich chocolate mousse, served with fresh strawberries and cream.
All followed by a hot drink of tea/coffee (decaffeinated available) and a complimentary chocolate.
We shall be in touch personally to collect specific orders - we are more than happy to cater for specific food requirements and can discuss these with you.
A range of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
