Interested in a trade career in Painting and Decorating? Have you recently left School?
This skill set provides learners with introductory, job-ready skills in painting and decorating, including safe work practices, workplace expectations, sustainable work practices, the handling of painting and decorating materials, use of basic tools and equipment, and surface preparation.
This focused short-course builds confidence through hands-on training and provides a pathway for students to continue into further training, employment opportunities or the broader painting and decorating industry.
Course cost:
* $0 Fee Free to eligible participants, To be eligible you must be:
• 15 year old or over
• no longer at school
• live or work in NSW
• an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen
Course Duration:
12th October 2026 - 25 November 2026
3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for 5 weeks
7.30am - 3.30pm
(subject to meeting minimum numbers)
