Prayers for Peace Kirtan & Fundraiser for Lebanon 🇱🇧❤️Join us for an evening of devotional music, connection and community, as we come together to send our prayers for peace and healing to a region deeply in need. Through the ancient practice of kirtan, we will unite our voices and hearts, sending deep prayers of love, strength & peace. This evening will be a great opportunity to contribute to a greater cause while immersing yourself in the healing vibrations of Sanskrit Mantra.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to a trusted Organisation supporting the people of Lebanon who have been affected by these horific times, helping to provide aid, food, clothing, and hope. The charity is called ‘Bayte Baytak’ and is run by a family friend from my Dads childhood village, Marjeyoun. ‘Bayte Baytak’ loosely means ‘my house is your house’ as over the years they have been helping with shelter and getting displaced people back on their feet 🏠
I am proudly Lebanese, and more than half my family live in beautiful Lebanon. It’s been hard to knowing where to start, what to do, how to support, and what to say in these horrific times. I believe sending prayers for peace is one of the most powerful things i can do, so coming together with this as a collective intention, we can amplify and send those ripples out.
