Prayer Flag Printmaking Class

Step into a cozy cabin and enjoy a creative twist on traditional printmaking with local artist Dani Renwick! In this class, you’ll print on prayer flags. Prayer flags have long been used in Tibetan Buddhism to carry prayers, blessings, and intentions. These flags are traditionally hung in high places like rooftops, trees, or mountain passes, so that the wind can carry the prayers out into the world.

Using colorful inks, you’ll design a series of unique flags that can be strung together, creating a playful, eye-catching display. Each flag becomes a small piece of art with meaning, reflecting your creativity and the spirit of connection. This hands-on project is a wonderful way to engage with the symbolism of prayer flags while making something beautiful to take home.
