About this Event

📖 FULL EVENT DESCRIPTION

You are invited to a peaceful and reverent gathering of prayer and worship in Washington, DC, on New Year’s Eve.

On the evening of April 17, 2026, believers from across the nation will assemble near the White House to mark the New Year with humility, repentance, and prayer before the Lord. This gathering is centered on seeking God’s will, praying for peace, and acknowledging the seriousness of the moment we are living in.

This is not a protest and not a political rally.

It is a solemn assembly — focused on worship, prayer, and reflection — recognizing that true peace begins with repentance and obedience to God.

We are not gathering to celebrate ourselves, a nation, or an outcome.

We are gathering to stand before the Lord, to pray for mercy, peace, and wisdom, and to ask that His purposes be fulfilled in righteousness and truth.

What to Expect:
  • Live praise and worship led by a choir and musicians
  • Prayer moments woven throughout the evening
  • A brief spoken reflection by Brother Deshone
  • A quiet, reverent atmosphere as daylight gives way to night

We will begin while there is still light and continue through sundown, entering the New Year in prayer and reverence before God.

Who Should Attend:
  • All descendants of the transatlantic slave trade
  • Those burdened to pray for peace
  • Those called to repentance and humility before God
  • Those seeking to begin the New Year soberly and prayerfully
  • Individuals and families desiring to stand in worship and prayer

All who come in peace and reverence are welcome.
