About this Event

Join CIA alumni for a behind the scenes look of the Praxis Fiber Workshop located in the Waterloo Arts district!

Get a first hand look at one of the few digital looms in the country and learn one of the oldest japanese techniques for indigo dyeing fabrics, Shibori. Join in as we learn how the plants are grown and processed into their trademark blue hue and participate in making your own dyed pieces.
