Le « talk-through » offre une introduction claire et engageante : une plongée dans la structure de l’Underscore, qui sert de fil conducteur pour une longue session de danse improvisée et de Contact Improvisation.
Pour ceux qui ont déjà assisté à une transmission et souhaitent un "rafraîchissement", c’est gratuit.

À PROPOS DE L’UNDERSCORE :
Facilité par Stéphanie Gaudreau, l’Underscore propose une exploration profonde des phases traversées lors d’un jam de Contact Improvisation. Le contenu de la pratique est enseigné avant l’exploration. La pratique est libre et non guidée, d’une durée de 3 heures, chacun responsable de son expérience dans l’instant.
C’est une expérience immersive, où improvisation kinesthésique et composition spontanée s’épanouissent dans un cadre structuré.
Pour participer à la pratique, il est nécessaire d’avoir assisté à une transmission d’une heure (« talk-through ») ou d’avoir déjà une expérience en Contact Improvisation.
VOTRE FACILITATRICE :
Stéphanie Gaudreau explore et danse l’Underscore avec sa créatrice, Nancy Stark Smith, depuis 2004. Elle partage cette pratique à Montréal et ailleurs depuis 2014, et guide également le Global Underscore chaque année en Estrie (Danse Orée des Bois).

ABOUT THE UNDERSCORE:
Facilitated by Stéphanie Gaudreau, the Underscore offers a deep exploration of the phases we go through during a Contact Improvisation jam.
It’s an immersive experience where kinesthetic improvisation and spontaneous composition flourish within a structured framework.
Participants must attend (or have already attended) a one-hour talk-through to join the practice and should have some prior experience in Contact Improvisation.
ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR:
Stéphanie Gaudreau has been exploring and dancing the Underscore with its creator, Nancy Stark Smith, since 2004. She has been sharing this practice in Montreal and other regions since 2014 and also guides the Global Underscore annually in Estrie (Danse Orée des Bois).
