102 | WOOD: Jointer, Planer, Hand Router and Table Router
This course is designed for the initiated and professionals who have completed their 101 WOOD training. This course will allow participants to deepen their knowledge of woodworking using advanced tools and machines.
*** Clothing and safety accessories are mandatory for this training ***
Theoretical elements:
- Functions of the jointer, the planer, the hand router and the table router
- How these different machines work and how to use them to their full potential in a safe manner
- Components of these tools and how to maintain them
Practical elements:
- Use of all tools covered
- Disassembly and maintenance of the planer
- Techniques and approaches of the hand and table router
After the training, the participant will be able to:
- Use the tools covered in the course in an optimal and safe manner
- Know the components of these machine tools and how to maintain them
List of materials provided with registration:
All materials are provided for the training except for the mandatory safety clothing and accessories.

- Closed shoe
- Safety glasses
- Ear plugs or ear muffs
- DO NOT wear loose clothing, gloves, ties, scarves, rings, bracelets or other jewelry that could become entangled in the moving parts of a machine
