If you're looking for breathwork techniques that are meditative and more relaxing, this is a fantastic group for you. These breathwork groups demonstrate shorter practical techniques for daily practice based on ancient Indian "medicine of the breath." These are simpler and more informative groups, and very accessible to all experience levels.
What to expect: After meeting and greeting, a handful of pranayama (yoga of breathing) styles are explained and demonstrated. Then we practice, flowing from technique to technique as Jeremy guides us through with a backdrop of sound for about half an hour. A sharing circle caps off the group to discuss what styles resonated for each of us.
Jeremy Grey has led hundreds of breathwork groups working with different mental health and addiction treatment centers, as well as populations of Veterans, Men, Women, and Teens. He leads with compassion and expertise, and aims to help tailor groups to anyone's specific healing needs.
What to Bring?
- wear comfortable, loose clothing, yoga mat, blanket and eye mask.
- If you are under 18 an adult must attend session as well
