Praisestock is an event for Christians and the community join together to praise God and carry His Message into the community, while also raising funds for Food for the Hungry of Knox County.Praisestock features a morning worship service and the afternoon includes praise and worship teams from across Knox County and Central Ohio, including (but not limited to) First Church of the Nazarene, Set Free Ministries, Salvation Army, Covenant Christian Church, Trinity Worship Center and the band Chestnut Ridge.
20-30 exhibitors of services benefitting the community and HIS Work are on-site sharing their mission and Christian ministry, providing stories, information to the Praisestock attendees.
Praisestock is directed by a volunteer board of directors in partnership with several local churches and ministries working together to offer our community a day of worship, service and gratitude. Praisestock also provides financial support for Food For the Hungry, and gives a place and time to interact with many essential Christian service ministries.
Praisestock is a 501c3 organization. Your tax-deductible contributions enable us to continue our mission of praising God and supporting those in need. Planning has started for the August 17, 2025 event. In addition to your prayers for a successful event (our 20th!), we have a few keys areas where additional assistance is needed. This includes Children’s Programming/Service, Exhibitors and Vendors, plus our Welcome Table. Contact us if you or your service group/church group would be willing to help.
Feel free to drop in on a planning meeting to find out more and how you (or your group) can help.
Planning meetings are: 6:30pm on Tuesday April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8 and August 12 at Covenant Christian Church, New Delaware Rd. just west of Harcourt Rd., Mount Vernon.
