Join us for a morning of community connection as we package winter warmth wear items for our neighbors in need, in partnership with JVS KC.
About this Event

Welcome to the Prairie Village Labor Day of Service!

Join us at Prairie Village Municipal Offices (City Hall) for a morning of giving back to our community. This hands-on event is a great opportunity to help our neighbors in need and connect with fellow residents. Kids are welcome, also.

We'll spend the morning assembling packages of winter warmth wear - coats, gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves. Our partner JVS KC will distribute the winter wear to our refugee and immigrant neighbors.

To support this event, we're holding a Winter Warmth Wear Drive.

Donations needed - new and gently used:

Mens' & womens' coats
Boys' & girls' coats
Gloves & mittens
Hats & scarves

Please bring your donations with you on Labor Day morning.

If you can't make it on Labor Day, you can support our winter warmth wear drive by dropping off donations to City Hall from now until August 29, during business hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
