About this Event
How do you learn from a sutra?
What happens when you engage a sutra with your whole being — body, speech, and mind?
Why do some sutras seem to defy all logic and reason, yet are highly revered as their enigmatic yet inspiring phrases echo down the corridors of time?
In this non-traditional commentary, Ken McLeod shows you how to engage the Diamond Sutra, one of the earliest sutras on the perfection of wisdom, and one of the most enigmatic.
In this course, you will uncover the path it teaches, a path to the calling in your heart that brought you to spiritual practice in the first place.
This course runs for six Tuesdays (July 2nd - August 6th) from 7 - 8:30pm. This ticket is for all six weeks, and in person attendance at all six sessions in strongly encouraged, however, with this ticket you will also receive a link to videos of the course to review.
If you'd like to register for the full series on video instead of in-person, click .
Ken McLeod has retired from teaching, but he has agreed to do this very special event. Suggested donation range is $200 - $400 for the course.
Ken McLeod - One of the more innovative teachers of Buddhist practice, Ken is known for his clear explanations, poetic translations, and his pragmatic approach. His way of teaching resonates strongly with those whose path lies outside established institutions. A translator and author (Wake Up to Your Life, Reflections on Silver River, A Trackless Path, and The Magic of Vajrayana), he is currently working on a new translation of the Diamond Sutra — “a practitioner’s translation, by a practitioner for practitioners.”
