Whether it’s at work, social events, or just everyday conversation — if speaking up feels scary or awkward, this might be the change you’re looking for.

• ✅ Supportive & friendly community: At Wimbledon Speakers Club we’re all here to learn — from absolute beginners to those already practicing. Everyone gets it, because we’ve all been there. 
• ✅ Real-life practice, not just theory: In each session you’ll get the chance to try both prepared and impromptu speeches, get structured feedback, and gradually overcome nerves. 
• ✅ Skills for life (not just the stage): You’ll improve clarity of thought under pressure, learn to organise ideas on the fly, listen better, and communicate more confidently — skills that help in job interviews, work presentations, social events, or family gatherings.

What to expect at a meeting:
• Warm welcome + friendly ice-breaker so you get to know others
• Short impromptu-speech opportunities or time to simply observe — no pressure to speak if you don’t want to 
• Optional prepared speeches or table-topics (short speeches)
• Thoughtful, positive feedback — what went well and how to improve 
• Exercises to sharpen speaking skills: e.g. improving structure, controlling nerves, refining delivery. 
When & Where:
📅 Every other Monday evening, starting at 6:45 PM
📍 At Wimbledon Library — Meeting Room at the back of the library on Wimbledon Hill Road. 
Cost:
🎟️ First session is completely FREE if it’s your first visit. Afterwards: £9 per session (or £60 for a full 10-session term)
