Join Us for Practice-Focused Inquiry in Higher Education!
Our Re-imagining Learning Communities (RILC) conference aims to brings together colleagues to share and critically reflect on practice-focused inquiry projects that respond to key T& L priorities in higher education. Dr Louise Lambert will focus on Diffractive enquiries for practice-based learning/teaching in HE. Presentations will explore themes including perceived assessment fairness and attainment confidence; the development of curiosity, oracy, and visual literacy within practice-based learning; and collaborative approaches to making placement work more effectively—particularly through co-creating guidelines on reasonable adjustments to support neurodivergent student teachers in further education. The conference will also showcase work on block teaching delivery and first year experience project, alongside contributions from APA students, highlighting diverse practitioner-led inquiries that seek to enhance teaching, learning, and student experience in higher education. Dr Emma Towers will close the conference by discussing how pedagogical design can better support learning in diverse, internationalised higher education context.
